2.1 Importance of Safety

Safety is very important, and it is essential for everyone and specific in the early ages. In infant care babies fully depend on adults to protect them and meet their needs. Educators must always make sure the classroom and play areas are clean, calm, and all was supervision to  make sure it is free from danger. According to Healthy Foundations in Early Childhood Settings (Pimento & Kernested, 2022), “keeping children safe means providing constant supervision and arranging the environment to prevent injuries” (p. 145). For example, the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) section 55 requires one educator for every three infants to make sure children are always supervised. All of these routine steps show how our educators stand for infants safety. Following these safety rules helps create a healthy and secure space where infants can grow and explore safely.

2.2 CCEYA and Safety Support

The Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) stands for helping protect infants by setting clean safety rules for licensed child care programs. It explains how educators must keep the full safe environment, clean and care and well supervised. For example, the CCEYA requires safe sleep routines, regularly equipment checks, and emergence plans for fire or illness. According to Healthy Foundations in Early Childhood Settings (Pimento & Kernested, 2022), "following regulation such as the CCEYA helps educators create environment that protects children's healthy, safety and emotional security" (p. 148). So our educators ensure that infants are nurturing in a secure and healthy  environment by adhering to regulations and consistent safety practices.

2.3 Safety Form/Docs/Routines

Safety form and daily routines helps educators follow the rules of the Child Care and Early Year Act and protect children from getting hurt.

Sleep Check form and Routines is one of  important form, which records how and when each infant has checked while sleeping. Educators  must note the sleep time  and any change in breathing or movement every 15 minutes.  All this steps supports the Child Care Early Years Act rule for safe sleep practice.

Incident and Accident Report form:  is also another important form. Educators use it to record any injury, accident or fall that happens in the classroom or outside activities. The report includes the child's name, date, time, descaription  of  what happened and educators actions taken.

Parents and supervisors must  sing it to. conform that they were informed. According Healthy Foundations in Early Childhood Settings (pimento & Kernested, 2022), "clear communication and proper documentation are essential parts os maintaining children's safety in early learning environments" (p. 150), these forms helps children's safety and ensure families are always aware of their child well being.
